Cremation, then scattering in one of two places, depending on if I predecease my wife (my choice of locale then) or not (hers). It’s in our wills and everything. After useful bits are taken, of course. ---

I want to be burned on a massive pyre. Then I want my blackened bones to be used for… I dunno, something, like something CRAZY. Maybe someone could wire my skeleton together and scare people with it, or paint it and use for decoration. Maybe make tools out of it. Something cool. ---

Organ donation; after that I don’t really care. I suspect my loved ones will opt for burial or cremation, but I have no preference. I’d prefer something more dignified than being stuffed and mounted over the fireplace or fed to wolves, though. ---

While many of those sound better to me than the casket, vault, cemetery, etc., check your local laws. ---

Organ donation and cremation, with my ashes scattered in the [scattering garden at Cave Hill Cemetery](http://cavehillcemetery.com/scatgarden.php) and a memorial tree planted there. That’s what we did with my mom (minus the organ donation) and my husband and I decided then that we wanted the same for ourselves. ---

Another vote for “better idea”. That being organ donation, and then medical research, and then creamate dump where ever. It really should have been a category, given the number of people who chose that option. ---

Please for everyone who is reading, be sure that you have a will and a living will. Also, be sure that thething in writing and legal. I’m sad to say that I know people who have lived longer than they shoud have because their families refused to let them go. I got better, but I was only flatlined for 7 minutes. Someone who is flatlined for days and months and years might want to get it over with. Make your choice now. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring. ---
