About 20 years ago in a small island fishing and tourist area, I was browsing an old book about whaling, and it showed a whale swimming on his back with a good view of his penis. The book said that the sailors’ name for a whale’s penis was “Pink Floyd”. There wasn’t any mention of the Rock’n’Roll band by that name. Anyone know about this? ---

The mind works in mysterious ways. I can imagine someone driving a humongous GMC, Ford or Hummer I (Texas plates) with a pair of bull balls hanging from the trailer hitch stops at a red light in front of the local hangout and revs his engine. The girls all squeal with delight, while the guys nod approvingly. Shortly thereafter, with the light still red, a tiny Toyota pickup truck, obviously a few years past its prime and rust-covered, pulls up alongside in the next lane. Big wanker trucker glances over and down, before bursting out laughing in hysterics. Said hangout guys and gals join in on the chorus. At that point, the Toyota driver revs his engine. The sound, so deafening it shakes the mortar loose from the walls of the local hangout, stops the hysterical laughter dead cold. As the light turns green, the little Toyota drives on while the driver of the humongous GMC, Ford or Hummer I (Texas plates) with a pair of bull balls hanging from the trailer hitch just sits there, dumbfounded. It’s then everyone sees a pair of 25-pound whale balls hanging from the Toyota’s trailer hitch. Oh yeah, the Toyota has Alaska plates. ---

The barstools in the bar aboard Ari Onassis’s megayacht _Christina O_ were upholstered with whale foreskins. Ari loved to tell female guests exactly what they were sitting on. Here’s a pic of the bar, but I have not yet found a cite for the barstool material. Okay, so [this picture](http://www.stephenwong.com/gallery/whales/Gray_Whales_mating_05_two_penis) has now been linked to _twice_, and I’m still the first person to notice that there are **two penises** in the picture of the “mating whales”? Are they having a whale-orgy (a whale of a good time!) or is this homosexual behavior going on? Or do whales have two penises each? ---
