I have been blessed with a gigantic noggin. Or let me put it this way: I’m 5’8" and my hat size is 7 5/8. Too me this is a fairly large head. I judge this on the fact that it is very hard to find a good looking hat that will fit on this enormous melon I’ve got. Luckily for me I have a stocky frame, so it doesn’t look like I’m carrying a pumpkin around on my shoulders. But I was wondering how my head compares to the populace at large So how big is your head? I was brought attention to this topic when I was watching “Seinfeld” and Jerry requested his hat size as 7 5/8. His head doesn’t look that big on television. Anybody else have trouble finding hats? Anybody have a tiny head? I’d really like to know. ---

Same as you, Mofo, 7 5/8, but looks fine on my stocky frame – at 5’ 6’ a bit shorter that you. Finding hats that fit is difficult. ---

I also wear 7 5/8 and I’m female, which strikes most people as an odd combination. The only thing that bothers me though is that my head isn’t round in cross-section but elongated. Sort of like the queen Alien. I wonder what that means… ---

I wear a 7 1/2 but it looks normal on me because I’m of average height maybe a bit taller (6’). Pretty easy to find a hat that looks good on me, just go to HatWorld and pick out the same hat that I always get. ---

I have a _huge_ head! It’s hard to find women’s hats that fit, usually the largest size in a particular style merely perches stupidly on the top of my skull. The only women’s hats that ever seem to fit are all have that Minnie Pearl look. **dwyr** , I wish my head were more elongated. In addition to being enormous, it’s also perfectly round. I think normal people have a slightly elongated head. When I try to wear head bands or anything else that’s supposed to stick on one’s noggin, they’ll stay on for about five minutes, and are then launched like a missile as they lose their grip on my cranium. ---

I think I wear the 7 3/4 if I remember correctly. All I know is whenever I put on a baseball cap; it pretty much looks like I’m wearing a jewish hat thingy–(i forget what there called). \:D ---

7 and 3/4 here, too. And female. I also have very large feet for my height, my theory is that I need them as counterbalance so I don’t fall over with the weight of my head. In any case, it seems to run in my family. ---

Cracked me up that I was up at 8:45 on a Sunday morning measuring my head. I measured 6 7/8, which actually surprised me, because I always thought I had a big fat head; I usually have to get medium-to-large hat sizes. I guess it’s just my big hair! ---

I’m 6’4" tall, and I wear a 7 3/4 or an 8, depending on the hat. Most one-size-fits-all hats won’t fit me. –Nott, the large ---
