22[sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub] - at least that’s the size of my uniform hat when I was on active duty. I have no idea what the equivalent men’s hat size is. I don’t wear hats anyway - my hair is very fine and it gets either smooshed or full of static and flyaway. ---

6 1/2 or 6 3/4, I don’t remember which. I never knew until one year my brother gave me a hat for Christmas without knowing my size, but he guessed perfectly somehow. ---

7-5/8 long here. I’m kinda glad to see it’s more common than I thought, but it’s still damn hard to find a hat that will sit right. I’m in the UK and have no idea how to work out the hat sizes you’re talking about but my head is 60cm or 23" 5/8. I think that it’s larger than normal but have never been too sure. BTW I’m 6 foot. Matt ---
