I think murder is a state crime so the president has no ability to pardon that act. ---

It won’t get passed, and the reason doesn’t matter because Biden is a Democrat. ---

You are almost certainly correct. But I didn’t specify exempting Biden, just Trump. So it would be tempting to the GOP. As to how this benefits Biden, only in historical reputation. As to the chance of it being used against Biden, I think ratification would take too long. ---

IMHO- that was a correct ruling. Can you imagine what could happen if it wasnt? Some deeply red state deciding that the Dem candidate cant be on the ballot- for reasons. Note that trump was never convicted of any such crimes. ---
