That gave me a chuckle. 😆 The thing that is different is Trump’s level of being crazy and out of control. It’s much higher than it was in the past. If he seemed stable, I would not be suggesting that an implosion is possible. Now it is also the case that, completely without justification, so much crazy is grandfathered into the scale by which Trump is assessed by the media and his cult that it is very hard for them (especially the cult) to perceive an uptick in the crazy and process it appropriately. Even so, Trump is working very hard right now to get the message out that he is nucking futs “as we’ve never seen before.” ---

In theory, and this kind of thing is polled an analyzed, there are “undecided” and “independent” voters who can as yet be swayed and some of Trump’s current poll numbers are due to their support. I.e., in theory, his floor is not what we see in the polls. ---

If Trump wore his underpants on his head, the only effect you would see would be millions of red hats covered with underpants and millions of people treating such things as normal. The survey, by YouGov, found that 42 percent of independent voters said they plan to vote for Trump in this November’s election, while 37 percent said they would cast their ballot for Harris.
