# How can Handy have so many posts, yet I never see him?!?

Handy’s managed to amass several thousands of posts on this message board. He must make dozens upon dozens of posts in a single day. And yet… and yet… I never see him. Whether it’s one of his own threads, or as the latest poster, his name only pops up occasionally, when others with significantly lower posts counts are spotted consistently several times in an hour.
Handy, I officially declare you to be the Phantom of the SDMB. Given the rate at which you amass posts, you must be non-corporeal… well, in an Internet sense.

Dear God. The last time I saw **Handy** , he had something like 6000 posts. I think that was a couple of days ago. Now it’s over 7000?

It’s handy not Handy. I type fast. I also type in an obscure codec language which leaves out a lot of information. Thus, most of my posts tend to not quite make sense unless you have an IQ of at least 175 so that you can figure them out.
For example, a person might ask, “What is the speed of light when it runs through a glass of Pepsi as opposed to a glass of Coke?”
My answer: “duh”

I think ever since Coldfire got the “mod” status, and **7000-posts-to-his-name** handy got overlooked, he got pissed and went a little quiet.

TVeblen, yes for a few months now I have tried to add more information. Bear in mind that being deaf, I get a whole lot LESS information myself. I tend to think that the world is based on this concept of just give a little data, people can figure out the rest.
As a post lingual deafened adult, my world becomes more visual & so I’m also struggling to interpret a more & more visual world into words, which is a major feat within itself.

It’s easy to run up your post count if you respond to every damn thread (with a monosyllabic reply) wether you have any significant knowledge of the subject matter or not.
