# How can I delete a contact from my iPhone?

It’s an older phone – I think there’s a 3 after it. I’ve got a friend’s name in there twice, one with last name & one without. Please, how do I get rid of one?

On my 4s, you select the contact, then tap edit (top right corner), then slide all the way down to the bottom of the page and there is a red bar that says Delete Contact. Touch that and then confirm. Hope it works the same on yours.

Ugh. Many thanks. I can’t believe I didn’t think there might be a bottom of the page down there if I’d just scroll it! :smack:

You’re welcome! The first time I had to edit/delete a contact I had the same problem…didn’t even consider scrolling down! I had to call my daughter to ask…
