# How can I get my new photo to appear for the \*comments\* in YouTube?

Argh, infuriating.

I changed my Google profile pic. This is now, as desired, the pic for my YouTube _channel._ But for some reason, my old bad pic is being used for any YouTube _comments_ I make.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Just wait. As it says when you change it, there is a delay for when it takes over you whole account.

Though doing a full refresh by pressing Ctrl-F5 on the pages might help, as it will clear the cached avatar on your computer.

Thanks, that did it! I cleared my cache and it was “fixed.” 🙂
