# How can I see the time a post was made?

I’d prefer to see the actual time a post was made rather than having it show, for example “38m” (38 minutes ago]. Is this something that can be set in preferences or elsewhere? Thanks.

If you’re on mobile, tap on the time since the post and it will bring up a header with the post’s time and date and the post number on it.

Thanks. I’m not on a mobile app, and I know that I can hover over the 38m. I want to see if there’s a way to make the date/time visible by default so that I don’t have to hover.
