# How can polling be partisan?

Another common occurrence is that organizations will use polls as stealth advertisements. For example, I had a telemarker friend who had the unfortunate task of administering a really horrible poll with questions like “Have you heard of the allegations that candidate X is a child molester?” and “What do you think of the fact that candidate X cheated on his wife?”
