According to [Census Bureau Facts for Features](http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/ff98-08.html) there are 37 Franklins in the USA big enough to be incorporated. Somewhere else (that I can’t seem to locate) stated that there’s at least one Franklin in every state. Regardless of the actual facts, how close is you nearest Franklin? I’m less than 25 miles from Franklin, Tennessee. Beat that. ---

I couldn’t find a Franklin in Baltimore, so I chose The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, since I know where it is. It’s 93.4 miles. I live in a part of MD that’s known as a “Tri-State area” because of its proximity to both WV and PA. So I google mapped all three. I’m 135 miles from Franklin, MD; 88 miles from Franklin, WV; and 202 miles from Franklin, PA. ---

There’s an area of West Baltimore called Franklin (21223). It’s about 10-11 miles from where Bibliocat and I live. No, we do not live together. Although, she came over for not-coffee yesterday. ---
