I’m a long way from any Franklins. The nearest is Wisconsin’s at 77.5 miles, but the one in my state, Illinois, is 246 miles away. Even the one in Indiana is closer at 217 miles. Distances according to Google Maps. ---

We might be willing to count if you live **on** a Franklin street, avenue, road, court, curve, pike, way, boulevard, alley, or thoroughfare of some sort. My home state of Indiana has two Franklins. Neither of which are close to my hometown - 186 miles and 212 miles. I’ve actually been to one of them - a quaint little country town but not much to write home about. ---

I have a feeling that I’m missing something, but according to Google maps, my closest Franklin is Franklin AZ which is 587 miles away. Do I win for being the farthest (for now)? ---

I live 141 miles away from Franklin, Calif. (according to Mapquest). Franklin appears to be a suburb of Sacramento; could be wrong. I live 398 miles away from Franklin Lake, Nev. In Pennsylvania I lived two blocks away from Franklin Street (which is where all of the hookers…uhm, hooked). ~Tasha ---
