# How come Iggy Pop is that fit?

IIRC his old cohort David Bowie played the “Elephant Man” on Broadway.  
I’d imagine Iggy being even more appropriate for that role.  
The longer he continues the more shirty I wish he’d get.

Welcome to the board, Gutterdandy, and thanks for sharing your experiences. Hope you stick around - I’m sure you’ve got more to share, and we flatter ourselves that some interesting folk lurk about here to entertain you in turn.

I enjoy Bowie’s version of “China Girl” (I was a big SRV fan) and “Candy” is in my huge daily random playlist. I’ve never been a big Iggy fan, but he’s always been lurking out at the edges of my musical interests my whole life. I should pick up his biography - I’m on a musician biography kick and Iggy’s got to have great stories to tell.
