I just kind of shrug and take it as a Hollywood thing. As **Enter the Flagon** mentioned, it’s easier to show off those sculpted abs if they’re bald. Every girlfriend I’ve ever had has liked playing with my chest hair when we snuggle. I’ll take that as a much more reliable indicator than any Hollywood trend. But then again, I don’t imagine anyone who likes hairless men would date a bearded guy anyway, so my sample is almost certainly skewed. ---

I don’t mind some hair on me. I don’t like excessive, just like I don’t like excessive of anyuthing. But then my SO is Chinese, so his hair is naturally minimal anyway. And I am just fine with that. Asian men are HAWT. ---

I think that we’re just moving away from body hair in general, at least as far as our entertainment goes. I absolutely loathe most modern porn, where the men have shiny chests and the women have pubic patches that they’ve whittled down to the size of Listerine breath strips. Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if they lay one on there as a trimming guide when they groom. It’s sick. ---

I’m so glad I don’t have a lot of body hair. Just a patch between my pecs (a former girlfriend’s best friend once told my girlfriend that I have the perfect amount of chest hair). I’m just sayin’. Oh- and no back or shoulder hair. ---

I am 33 years old and I have one chest hair that pops out about every 2 months or so, right in the center of my chest. I pull it out when it shows up, because no one is going to think that one little hair is sexy. I just naturally have no chest hair, hmmm, maybe I am supposed to be a superhero? ---

If I weren’t in Florida I wouldn’t shave my chest but especially in the summertime it’s just impossible to stay sane in the heat. Without shaving I’d feel about 4 degrees warmer all the time. ---

I plucked it, of course, and spent the next few months examining the area anxiously, terrified my hormones must have gone awry and I was going to end up with hairy boobies. I have a pretty good amount of chest hair and some on my back as well. I would not mind at all if I had some more! I always wanted to be really hairy! ( I liked Steve Carell’s amount of coverage in “Forty Year Old Virgin” – I would like that amount on my back as well! I guess that makes me weird!) I do not understand the hairless trend (generational thing, I know!) – when did it start, anyway? ---

Hairy chested guy here (not on my back, though). Oddly enough, my dad, who coulda used it back in the 70s, drew the non-hairy-chested card. We’re both rather upset with each other 'cause each would’ve liked the other’s chest in our respective primes. Thankfully, mine’s not too thick and I’ve got a lovely wife who thinks it’s _just right_. ---

For me it depends on the guy. my boyfriend shaves his and it looks better that way. His overall look is the little twink boy look anyway, so it fits better. Now, some guys just have that nice furry covering to play with and…yea, sometimes it’s a good thing. ) ---

I don’t really fancy chest hair but I wouldn’t kick someone out of bed upon discovering it. Hey, I didn’t kick that one guy out for his back hair, either. The last few guys I’ve dated have been black guys who were naturally pretty hairless, with no chest hair at all. And I was quite surprised to find that not one but _both_ of them shave their 'pits, too. (Perhaps lots of guys shave their armpits and just don’t talk about it? I’ve seen guys that _should_ …) The problem I could see with chest-shaving is the stubble. Ugh. I hate stubble, I don’t put a razor to any part of my own body because of it, I don’t want to feel anybody else’s, either. Ew. Chest stubble. ---

I dislike guys with no chest hair, especially if they have big muscles. (Actually, come to think of it, I don’t like big muscles under chest hair, either- give me a nice fat or skinny geek instead) And shiny chests- just ick. Body hair’s pretty ick, IMO, mostly because of its less than savoury texture.
