# How come when I get really angry, I suddenly feel like my strength has doubled?

And before you say anything, I’m not the Hulk. 😉 And then I tried to make myself angry but I just wasn’t feeling the strength…

The flight/fright response is for the adrenal glands to release a number of compounds including cortisol and epinephrine. This leads to increased blood glucose, heart rate etc.
