# How comfortable were/are Crocs?

I have a few styles of Crocs and they’re very comfy and unstinky, but the real test of Croc comfort was my sister Heather. Heather is quite unhealthy and had a really uncomfortable pregnancy. After awhile, all she could get on her feet, she thought, were flip flops. But they were causing her back pain. So, we took her to the store, made her try on some Crocs and the very minute she had them on both feet the back pain was almost gone.

I had a pair of [Patras](http://www.crocs.com/womens-footwear/women-footwear,default,sc.html?sz=1&start=25) that I got to schlep in and out onto the deck for hot tubbing, and otherwise gimping outside to meet UPS/FedEx/mailHumans and I absolutely detest them. The funky soft foamy garbage they have as the footbed is slimy and mushy. If there is the slightest bit of moisture on my foot, it feels slimy and my feet slide around and present a walking hazard to me. There is NO support because of the squsy ooginess of them. It feels like I strapped a pair of banana slugs on my feet. They got tossed into the garbage after a week.
