# How commonly is intercourse impeded by vaginal tightness?

So my friend, by which I mean me, had an issue. It was resolved to the benefit of all parties involved. Yet I’d like to know people’s experiences with the following:
When both parties are willing, how common is it for a woman’s vagina to be so tight that it becomes difficult, uncomfortable and even somewhat painful to insert one’s penis?

It’s often an unconscious, physiological response triggered in some women when confronted by an extremely tiny penis. A subliminal desire not to offend leads to a severe contraction, thus providing the tiny penised male a “normal” sexual experience.

If a woman has not done it for a while she may be tight starting off but I have only found a very few women who actually are so tight they cannot take an entire normal size penis after a few sessions. I knew a small Korean woman with 3 kids who had to be on top and could only take a few inches.

It was my experience in that case. It got progressively looser and easier within a few days.
I guess I can see the psychological aspect of it, if one hasn’t has a foreign body thrust into them for a while, it might be psychologically difficult to relax for some.
Physiologically, though, are there reasons for this tightness or is it all psychological?
Are there other psychological reasons besides the one I mentioned?

It has been my experience that a good German lubricant can greatly diminish impairment.
But, this question has occurred to me reading news stories about children being raped. I understand that legal definitions are different, but before what age is the average vagina simply too small for a normal erect male penis?

The sexual organs don’t start to grow until puberty. So any prepubescent girl has a vagina that is virtually the same size as a newborn.
Once puberty gets going, the size and tissue composition can change pretty quickly, but this would be based on development status (like Tanner stages) much more than chronological age. The same is basically true for breast size too, so it shouldn’t be too surprising. The uterus actually keeps growing well into the 20’s, but that wouldn’t affect intercourse as much as pregnancy.

Vaginas come in all different sizes and shapes, I’d estimate too small and too damn big at about 10% each, but am going to continue research to be sure my sample population is high enough to be statistically valid.

More like, drunk people fucking may not take much or any time for foreplay. Just, pants off, stick it in…
There’s several possibilities here, one is lack of foreplay. The other is vaginismus – and a like was provided upthread, which the OP has either missed or willfully ignored.
