# How "Cosby Show" should've ended

While I love the Cosby/Culp Newhart dream takeoff idea, a variation would find Cliff and Clair waking up and sharing a dream, that they were still married to people that looked like them but were entirely different, as on Cosby’s later CBS sitcom, [Cosby](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115144/).

It would have been awesome if [this](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D18zuCosmU0&feature=player_detailpage#t=453s) was the last scene. Probably would have pissed a lot of people off though.

Ah, I love that scene and I do miss that show. Bill Cosby could really deliver funny, yet somehow sincere, dialogue.
