I think there is too much attention on the ‘bring something back’ scenario.
Assume a Terminator approach and your time machine won’t allow any transfer of advanced electronics or books etc… i.e. “Nothing dead will go…”
How do you personally explain the future to people without form any back-up documentary evidence.
My WAG is you couldn’t. You wounld be dismissed as just another nut.
