Hillary did pretty good dodging that sniper fire. But Bush avoided not one, but TWO size 11EE high tops! Those high tops are DEADLY man! Good foot work there Georgie boy! Seriously, this event reinforces my belief that all political leaders in every country are buffoons and deserve all the scorn they reap. They’re just like other celebrities but without the crappy movies or music or sports moves the others make. ---

I won’t add to the pun-fest but my random thoughts are: 1. You have to give props to the prez for the quick reflexes and the artful dodge. He veered out of the way for both shoes and afterward seemed to maintain his composure. or if you’d rather: 1. Man did that shoe thrower have awful aim. I don’t care if you’re screaming your “Death to Infidels” line, the guy was, what, ten feet away and missed both. Since you saw Bush going to his left at the first throw, why not correct and aim there on the second one? Result? He didn’t practice his technique at home? 2. And now the big “What if…” If Bush had caught the shoe in mid flight, and hurled it back at the thrower à la the security guard from the scene from **Super Bad** , he would have erased eight years of utter ineptitude, and would forever have been regarded as THE MAN. Alas. ---

Oh, you people with your bad puns. But this is serious! Ever since 2001, I couldn’t get through an airport security check without taking off my shoes. But at least up until now they’ve always given them back. Fucking terrorists. I’m sure that **Robot Arm** and **HazelnutCoffee** share my outrage. ---
