Kurt Cobain’s only child (whom he had with Courtney Love)- Frances Bean Cobain- married Tony Hawk’s son, Riley Hawk, late last year. Well, while they themselves may be D-listers, Kurt Cobain and Tony Hawk are **legends** in their respective fields. It’s not crazy that the Venn diagram of their friends and acquaintances might have a few overlapping sections. ---

Celeb kids have a shared life experience that most others can’t relate to. It makes sense that they would network with each other, and the six degrees of separation concept would break down quickly in a clique like this. They also have the means to meet and connect through travel, as they likely frequent many of the same destinations. ---

As to the question, my Google search gives me nothing. Frances Bean had been off social media when she quietly announced that she was dating Riley, and no reporting I could find indicates where the relationship started. It did say that she is a visual artist and he’s a pro skateboarder.
