How did 'Logorama' get away with using logos?

Even if, say, McDonald’s had a case, I doubt that they’d want to make a big stink over this and draw attention to a homicidal, f-word spouting Ronald McDonald.
I did enjoy the guy’s acceptance speech at the Oscars where he thanked the fillm’s “3,000 unofficial sponsors.”

Never underestimate the stupidity of some corporate types. This is the same company that turned a two-person leaflet team into worldwide celebrities, and instigated the largest lawsuit in British history, all to correct a few unflattering claims that would have been seen by maybe a few hundred people.
