On the subject of Jewishness, some people think Ebenezer Scrooge is. Well, he’s not, but guess who is… all three Stooges!

As George Burns states in “All My Best Friends”: Benny was such a successful comedian that he completely eliminated the Scottish race. Prior to his radio show, all “miser” jokes were about Scotsmen; by 1950 they were all about Jack Benny.
