The first two points of his statement were (1) I don’t know the facts and (2) the cops acted stupidly. How is that not going against the cops before the facts came out?

Is any criticism of a police officer “going against the cops”, or just this one? If I say that Sean Groubert acted stupidly when he shot motorist Levar Jones several times for no reason, am I “going against the cops”?
