And given that it was a promotional video, I’ve got to assume this was a paid or volunteer actor and being swept into the water was intentional and carefully monitored.

Yeah…the director thanked some guy in the description “for getting wet.” I’d give that a big yes.

This function is getting more and more popular, from what I’ve seen, all Canon’s digital cameras now have “miniature effect”.
