My username comes from the comic strip _Snarfquest_, which used to appear in _Dragon Magazine_. Kizarvexius was the actual name of a ferocious dragon who was struck by lighting and lost his memory. An evil wizard found him and cast a spell on him that made him believe that he was, in fact, a duck. The wizard then placed him in his treasure chamber as a sentry, paddling around in a giant bowl of water and calling himself “Willie”. I’ve always like this as a user name because I’m a big guy with a very gentle disposition. I have a couple who friends who call me “Kiz” as a nickname. ---

The origin’s of my name are lost in the mists of time… Well actually I’ve just forgotten what gave me the idea. Back on the PCGF I used to go by T-f U Poet, but then I changed to The Immortal Mango. Incidently this is my MSN name, and my friend got mixed up when he was trying to remember it and accused me of being The Pyscho Melon. Which I blatanly stole, so if you ever meet The Pyscho Melon online then its probably me, or another thieving git. ---

I tried to go along a Metal Gear Solid naming system (Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, Sniper Wolf etc.). Yes, I’m a Game Geek. Dunno why I chose this user name since I haven’t seen a single squirrel in my life. I suppose a Rabid\_Kiwi would be a little too weird for me - hehe, funny mental image of a small fuzzy bird foaming at the mouth. Rabid pretty much describes me to a tee - either that or frantic, hyperactive. ---

My focus in graduate school was physical/forensic anthropology. Poor Yorick = skull. Kinda lame, but I like it. People assume that I must be a Shakespeare scholar, but alas, Poor Yorick is not. And, dammit, it IS often taken on other user boards. ---

Star Trek _TOS_ - season 1, ep 2. **The Deep Muddy Maneuver** The Enterprise is exploring new, uncharted regions of space - seeking out new life and civilizations and such. They encounter the Fesarius, a spinning space cube (never a good thing) that warns them away and keeps blocking their path. What does our intrepid Captain do? “Phasers on Full. Destroy the buoy!” No dice. Mr. (Blalok) Burns comes onscreen, says “Ex-cell-ent” and muahahas delightedly, then summarily says the Enterprise has trespassed and committed hostile actions, and therefore must be destroyed. Sometime soon. “Indeedily-doodily” says Spock. Kirk, clearly flustered at his predicament, snarls back at his First Officer, “Thank you Senator Zell Miller!” Spock, not letting his emotions control his actions like the dumbass before him, merely arches an eyebrow and stalks off to contemplate the Amok Time episode where Kirk shall be crushed. So Kirk tells Blalok - go ahead and blow us up if you think we’re so evil. We’ve got Corbomite and if you fire on our ship, we’ll die, you’ll die as will this series… of adventures. Kirk then orders an offensive retreat that, incredibly seems to disable Blalok’s ship! Then a distress signal comes from The Fesarius! “Mission Accomplished!” beams Kirk. “Let’s beam over to the Fesarius and wallow in our glory!” The being they encounter, a toddling Clint Howard, who upon seeing Kirk cannot help but rolling on the floor, laughing out loud. “Corbomite! What a maroon!” He stops laughing long enough to pull a string and wheel out his Blalok puppet, mounted on wheels, whom he addresses unctuously, “Oooh, Blalok! They’ve got _corbomite_! I use to want to put NVME on my license plate- unfortunately it will be a while before anyone would ever envy any vehicle I drive. I have used it for at least 3 years on other boards and only recently did someone correctly guess that I lived in Nevada=NV Soooooo, now I use that at my excuse. Nevada me or envy me Sometimes I feel like changing it but I’m too lazy- maybe I should be lazyme… ---

Like I’ve said before, longtime fan of NY Sun columnist Don Marquis and his vintage-1916 creations Archy the poet cockroach and Mehitabel the alley cat. I happen to like Archy better than Mehitabel, but you know, gender confusion. Besides, unless I put archy in lower-case nobody would get the reference, but that’s not fair because Marquis always capitalized Archy and everybody would think I was talking about Archie Bunker, who whatever his faults had human fingers and unlike the poor roach could use the shift key of a manual typewriter, and…I’ll shut up now. Thank you, I actually googled a bunch of different spellings for it and none of them looked right, but after 10 minutes I decided I was wasting too much time on a short post and just went with it. My incorrect spelling is, I believe, a band name. No clue what seeds you are refering to. Blotter acid is supposed to have trace amounts of strychnine, which can mess with you a little. ---

Daisy is: my cat, my favorite flower, and the name of a [woman](http://jfg.girlscouts.org/GS/JGL/visit/visit.htm) I greatly admire (She really is cool. Read her biography some time.) However, the name Daisy was taken so I added “face” to it, which is what I sometimes call the cat. Hey, it’s better than the other stuff I call her, including but not limited to: fuzz face, fuzz butt, fuzz head, butt head and moron. (She’s not the smartest cat.) ---

**Ellis Dee** , back in the late '70s, early '80s it was legal to purchase Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds, which contain a natural form of LSD. In fact, a quick Google search turns up multiple sites which are still offering them for sale, but I am skeptical of the legality of purchasing/possessing them in the USA. In any event, I certainly wouldn’t recommend them. They are coated in a sort of fuzz, which purportedly contains strychnine, and their use generally results in nausea lasting for an hour or two. Hence my curiosity regarding your reference to “strychnine shivers”, since I was unfamiliar with that term. And, on preview, I see that **AK-Dave** did some excellent research to identify the source of the effects as LSA, rather than LSD. Thanks. Sorry for the hijack. ---
