# How do I add pictures to my posts?

I found a spider I was hoping people might be able to identify. I took pictures, shrunk the file sizes, and now want to add them to a new thread. I see that I can add hyperlinks, but where would I have the link point? The pictures are just sitting on my hard drive.

You need to load the images to an image hosting site–there are several free ones such as imageshack and photobucket. You can then post a link to them. The IMG tag to actually embed images in posts has been disabled for this message board due to bandwidth limitations and the potential for abuse.
