# How do I buy Canadian stock?

I have an E_Trade account that I fiddle around with, but it seems that I can’t buy anything from the Toronto Stock Exchange through E_Trade. Is there a similar type outfit I could join to play with Canadian stocks? Are there restrictions if I’m a US citizen, or strange tax implications?
