The Mythbuster’s [Chicken Gun](http://youtube.com/watch?v=yHfejwdrMVQ&mode=related&search=) comes to mind…
[/QUOTE]
No myth that. Westinghouse was using a chicken gun as early as [1943](http://members.aol.com/ddsquirrel/chickengun.html), when _LIFE_ magazine did a feature on it.

She’s definitely worth every penny of the $601.70 she cost me today.

o.o

For a SPAY? Holy crap, did they use golden scalpels and serenade her with a live string quartet as she awoke from surgery?

1. Ensure cat is in house, but not in room with cat flap (food helps).
2. Close door to said room
3. Locate cat and re-locate to ‘boxing room’ - one with no hiding places
3a) Exit room with caution - cat is now deeply suspicious
4. Close all other doors
5. Get cat box
6. Rapidly enter ‘boxing room’ with box concealed behind back, kick door shut
6a) Cat’s worst suspicions confirmed by sight of dreaded box
7. Observe utter dismay
8. Place box on end with opening facing up
9. Grab cringing, baleful cat - ignore Queensbury rules
10. Force down into box using full body weight and with corkscrew twisting movement

At vet open front - cat cringing at back of box - dismantle box - cat cringing on tray.
Vet disappears with cat into back room, returns with startled, violated cat - shocked by anal intrusion and being forced to provide urine specimem.

Assemble box - cat darts in.

Outside house, place box on ground, open door, cat perks up, exits box and makes a dash into cat flap. Re-enter house to find cat eating frantically to erase memories of horrific experience.

Jeez…my cats LOVE the cat carrier. In fact, when we took Large to the vet the first time, he was a surly outside cat and hated us. We borrowed a wild animal capture cage (because he’s too big for the standard cat carrier we own) and bribed him in with goodies. When we brought him home from The Neutering, we had to shake the cage to get him out! All of them would live in the carriers if we let them.
