# How do I get to the SDMB IRC channel, again?

Get an IRC client, such as mIRC. Connect to an Undernet server, and then join the #straightdope channel.

Hurry, we are in there talking about you RIGHT NOW.

Fill in your information. Pick any old channel in the list, you will be leaving straight after.  
You get a pop up saying “do you want to install blahdiblah”, say yes.  
When you have the chat window in front of you, write this:

/join #straightdope

We will be there with open arms and explain all about how to connect with a client.

For the record, I don’t believe a word of what **Berkut** is saying about you!
