Really dumb, I know. I would like to save a large document, about 11MB, to a CD-R. But whenever I try, I get a message saying I don’t have permission and I need to contact an admin. (isn’t that me?) about it. ``` Anybody know what to do? ``` ---

You don’t save to a CD-R directly (e.g., from inside a program). Open the folder where the file is and drag it to the CD-ROM drive. Open the CD-ROM drive folder. There should be an instruction to write the files to the CD-ROM. Click on that to start the CD writing wizard. It should be simple from there. ---

Then I tried the “send to” method. Both times, the msg. said it was inaccessible and there was an incorrect function. ---

Are you using an administrator account or a user account (good boys and girls, even if they’re IT pros, only use the admin account when they need to 😃 )? ---
