# How do I meet new AOL Instant Messanger buddies?

What’s the best way to go about meeting new buddies for chat on AIM? I don’t get unsolicited AOL IMs and when I use the Find a Buddy Wizard to search by common interests, I find people like SeXXXYGurl12 or HOTActionNOW234 or DyingIsCool666 or HighOnJesus777 or…well, you get the picture.

Help a gal meet some buddies on AIM, will ya? Thanks.

Step 1) visit [www.facethejury.com](http://www.facethejury.com)

Step 2) create profile; use pictures of yourself in various states of undress

Step 3) sit back and relax. IMs from such luminaries as **SevenInchesSoft** , **JWThuggable** , **Abercromboy53495** , and so forth will begin spewing swiftly.

Alternate:

Step 1) click the little AIM icon on our posts and say hello.

If you see a Doper with AIM icons, check out their posts and give them a holla’! That’s why we got em up there, don’t we?

You may also create a different username and enter a chat. Then weed out the wheat from the chaff and give them your main AIM name (say that 5 times fast).

I’d stick with dopers. Other than that, I usually find friends of friends…but I’m a college student with two teenage sisters. Several of my newer IM buddies have been from me leaving comments in my little sisters’ friends’ journals and the affronted parties IMing me to figure out who I was. Thos conversations are fun.
