To soften jeans, perform the following: Place jeans in clothes dryer. Add 5 lbs of of crushed stone. Run dryer for 5 hours (any heat setting). Remove jeans, put them on. Go to store - buy new dryer. ---

Or, you can use a currency counterfeiter’s trick and substitute plastic poker chips in place of stone. That would save a trip to the appliance store. ---
