# How do I stop IE from asking me if I want to debug?

Frequently, Iexplorer will fuss at me, popping up an error message box and asking if I want to debug a website. It gives what looks vaguely like a HTML error. How can I stop it?

Open the browser, go to **tools** , then **Internet Options** , and then to the **advanced** tab. Scroll down in the **browsing** section and **check** the box that says **disable script debugging.**
