# How do I turn on the ringer on my iPhone???

OK, I get it. The ringer silencer is mechanical so it’s always easily accessible. AND that is why there is no software to turn the ringer back on. My workaround is to set the timer or alarm to make a sound I will recognize to remind me to turn the ringer back on. :smack:

Exact same thing happened with my sisters new iPhone. As family tech support guy i spent 15 increasingly puzzled minutes playing with the settings before i googled the problem and found out about the switch.
