The single “bling” was used in last night’s episode of _Las Vegas_ to describe a particularly expensive watch that someone received as a gift. I thought it sounded pretty stupid. ---

Everyone’s a comedian. SD takes forever to load up, and I think the reason is that 1/2 the replies are supposedly witty replies. If people just posted serious replies I think SD would be much faster. Thanks for all those who posted a serious answer. ---

I think the singular “bling” would be the noun, while “bling bling” would be a verb. Noun example: “Yo, check out my bling!” Your friend said to you as he displayed his platinum and diamond watch. Verb example: “Yo, look at your watch go bling bling!” You say to your friend as the light catches his platinum and diamond watch. ---

Your thread is therfore redundant, and is slowing down the SD. So lighten up. And secondly, how can you expect a thread about “bling bling” to remain serious? It’s a silly phrase. ---
