Yeah they use the Falcon system as I recall. I was on the team that first implemented its beta test for debit cards (previously it was only used on credit card portfolios for issuers). It was a bit flaky back then but I’m glad First Data has made improvements after acquiring the technology.
Indonesia was quite infamous for a while (well the fraudsters were routing through servers in indonesia to be more accurate. they could have been anywhere). Our headaches came mostly from Russia and Eastern Europe.
