I’d be down with that. I used to have an electric weedeater, and I hated it. Plug always popping out, trimmer line fed badly, dragging a long cord all over the yard, etc.
So when it finally died I looked at some of the battery powered ones, but I did a little research and I wouldn’t be able to trim it all on one charge, which is a dealbreaker for me, and I bought a gas-powered one.
I had never used one before and the power of the thing compared to an electric trimmer is off the charts. It’s like using a mechanized machete!
If they can get the battery-powered ones to last longer and be more powerful (because they are quieter than gas-powered ones, and more enviro-friendly), that’s what I’ll get next time.
I work the night shift. 1100pm to 700am . Unfortunatly me neighbor likes to mow the yard at the ungodly hour of 2pm. My sleep time. If it was not for the fact I slip him some money to mow my yard I would complain.
And they all look the same to me
Twice now I’ve hard workmen in my shared-wall home…
What is a Hard workman? That’s an euphemism for something, right?
Another vote that you should have spoken to your neighbour. It is the kind of thing I would do, I just don’t think about other people unless they point out to me that what I’m doing is annoying, in which case I will stop it. There’s nothing malicious about it and frankly you’ve only yourself to blame if you don’t speak up.
WAAAH my neighbor actually takes the time and effort to keep up their lawn, but they wont do it on MY schedule.
Give me a break, some of the posters siding with you are probably the same kind of people who would be the first to complain if they weren’t taking care of their yard.
I understand it might be a little annoying and aggravating that your neighbor’s only time in his busy work schedule to upkeep their yard was when you were having your little party, but that’s part of having neighbors. My suggestion is to move to a house with a multi-acre lot.
What is a Hard workman? That’s an euphemism for something, right?

Didn’t notice that until just now. So who thinks Freud’s a fraud now?
