just so happens they changed a tire on my plane this morning. The mechanic saw a nail in a tire on his walkaround, so they swapped out the tire on the 757 while we were all on it at the gate. I wouldn’t have noticed a thing if I didn’t know about it.

(I wonder if I can get the old tire to hang on a rope on my maple tree, next to that 747 up on blocks : )
