# How do they make the World Series logo in front of the dugouts?

Pretty much.

On Thursday morning on ESPN, they crossed to one of their reporters (Kurkjian? Olney?) at AT&T Park in San Francisco, and they showed the guy filling in the logo with blue paint.

[This image](http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site568/2012/1023/20121023_061430_World%20Series%20Tigers%20Giants.jpg) shows the template from the 2012 World Series (this year’s logo is a [little different](http://www.kansascity.com/sports/mlb/kansas-city-royals/royals-photos-videos/gn6oa0/picture3011073/alternates/FREE_960/RoyalsPractice%20JFS%2010-18-14%200251.jpg)). I assume that they lay the template down, spray paint into those holes to give the outline, and then remove the template and fill in the rest.
