# How do wait staff prefer to recieve tips?

Unfortunately or otherwise, it is not a solution that wait staff collect 15% of, either.

is ‘negative commision’ widespread or is it just a weird feature of one bastard London chain?

Its where waitstaff get deducted money when they sell an expensive wine, because of the big tip they will get.
