If I wanted my browser to ignore a single poster’s posts, how do you do it? I don’t see a button for it. Granted, I haven’t had my coffee yet and it might be right in front of my face… The SDMB has that function, yes? ---

Related question: Can you block a whole thread? That would be useful if there are long, ongoing threads you sont’ want ot have to scroll past every day. ---

Click on the user’s username Go to “public profile” click “add USERNAME to my ignore list” To ignore the posts of a single user. How to block a thread? That I don’t know. ---

Don’t think you can block a thread, you can just skip past it ---

^ Which is kind of a shame. It would be interesting to have TPTB publish statistics about things like who is the most ignored user, etc. 😃 ---

And the nominees for most reported posts are… Although seriously, I can understand the rule. You’d have to be a dick to say “I have you on my ignore list!” knowing full well that the person can’t respond.
