# How do you edit urls in the Favorites bar of IE8?

I want to edit the url (not the name) of something I saved to the Favorites bar in Internet Explorer 8. I want the url as I originally typed it. All I seem to be able to get are the url that replaces that if I navigate to the page, or the url of the page I was on previously if I try to save before navigating to the page.

Right click on the name or the icon in the Favorites bar.

From the pop-up menu, Left-click on ‘Properties’

Edit the URL shown in the ‘URL:’ text box

Left click on ‘OK’

… Profit? 😉
