# How do you erase all records of websites that you've visited?

No, the topic at hand was eliminating incriminating items on your personal machine.

It’s not that hard. That’s what searching/keywords are for, as well as pattern matching. No one reads all 1 trillion or so pages in Google either. There is plenty of legal software available to system Admins to monitor huge intranet/extranet sites. If you think that no one is doing text searches of your mails on the server, well, good for you.
