# How do you feel about dumpster diving?

Dumpster diving from a low board might be okay but I don’t recommend it from a high board.

Mystery furniture has bedbugs. I wouldn’t take it. Lysol won’t kill them, either.

Bedbugs aren’t a problem here, and I live in a condo complex next to an apartment complex. My condo is across the street from the biggest dumpster, and . . . well, I’ve never gone **into** the dumpster to get stuff, but people are kind enough to place things **next** to the dumpster. I’ve gotten a really nice, almost new loveseat from there, several tables/shelves/chests (many of which I’ve painted), a really cool lantern, a great end table, a smoke detector still in the package . . . it’s crazy what people will toss.

Definitely. Curbside items are considered legally abandoned and free for the taking.
