[“Fifty into one won’t go”](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v483/picunurse/IMG_8839_zps48b216fd.jpg) We saw this lady in a parking lot struggling to get at least 50 balloons into her car. The back seat already had a bunch of stuff. A couple people were trying to help, but as you can see, not making much progress. I think the people helping were her kids, so they had to ride too. The thing that amazed me is I’d priced those very balloons a couple weeks ago, they’re $5.00 each, that’s $250. Do you think the car was harder to drive, with the wheels not touching the ground? 😃 ---

Legally, you can’t. It will obstruct the driver’s view and become a huge distraction. The first cop who sees her is going to pull her over. ---

I would suggest that the driver pops whichever balloons are not cooperating. The whole bunch will then fit, and the popped balloons will serve as an example to the remaining ones. ---

Put the rented tank of gas in the trunk. Place pack of balloons in the glove box. Save money over preblown balloons for more cake and icecream. ---

Once I bought a single one of those mylar balloons for my brother’s birthday. But as it was hot (late July birthday) I had the driver’s side window open (the balloon was in the back seat), I took a turn, and the balloon went out the window. I had to go back and buy another. ---

Damn, $250 of balloons? Someone’s got some money to burn. They last pretty much forever, though - my nephew had one sad little deflating mylar birthday balloon kicking around his playroom for a _year_. Maybe she heard about the helium shortage, and she’s going to keep those in a bunker and sell them when the supply runs out? ---

I thought it might be for a political campaign. Great use of campaign donations. :dubious: Oh, and as to the longevity of mylar balloons; my ex-roommate got some for her birthday. The phone rang in the middle of the night. Telephone was in the living room, as were the balloons. They had deflated to eye level. When I walked into the dark living room, the air pressure caused them to greet me at the end of the hallway. I nearly had a heart attack. ---

I don’t see a problem. The car has a attached luggage rack on top. Tie the balloons securely and drive slow. I’d tie it twice to make certain it didn’t come loose. They’ll be fine. ---
