> Yeah, that’s what I wanted to say. Do people actually think “Hey, I’m dreaming!” in the middle of dreams, and keep on dreaming? I’ve certainly awoken myself on purpose during a particularly bad dream, but I would think that if I ever realized I was dreaming, even pleasantly, I would wake up then also.

I used to be able to - even to control the dream some - but not for many, many years now. These days, I’m lucky if I even know where I am/what day it is/what reality is when I wake up.

i played around with lucid dreaming a bit, one sign for me is devices not doing what they’re supposed to - switches not working etc.

continuity - a clock will have changed its time, numberplates change… a scene doesnt make sense. you train yourself to question reality, how did i get here etc. sometimes you notice the flow is wrong.

annoying situations - sometimes you find yourself repeating something so boring or irritating in a dream you just say id rather be doing something else is there any possibility that im not awake now…
