# How do you manage your dope?

Every time I come on SD, I’m almost lost. There are new threads popping up every other minute (don’t trust my stats, they are based on perception). So many users, so much stuff to read, to persue through or scan. How do you manage to keep track all of this?

I guess with me, since I’m relatively new here, I’m not kinda familiar with the whole atmosphere and have not adopted to the “speed” of things.

Depends on how much time you have and what topics are interesting to you. I have no real method other than usually checking IMHO, GQ & Mindless stuff first.

I use Opera, so I have all the forums with the exception of CCC, CSR, and GD saved as a session.

Open Session --\> SDMB  
As soon as one of the fora is completely loaded, I scan down it and open each promising thread in a new window. I close each thread as I’m finished with it, and then move on to the next forum. After I’ve done this with each of the fora, I cycle back to the first one and see which threads have new replies. This goes on indefinitely until there’s something else that I absolutely _must_ do. (Eat, sleep, earn cash, post to [www.b3ta.com](http://www.b3ta.com) – that sort of trivia.)

Then I start over. Wheee!

Ever seen Data read a comm panel?

Now, imagine him really fast and with rock hard abs.

Got that?

Now, imagine him in a sundress.

Got that?

Now, imagine him going like that to a cyber cafe to surf the Dope.

Imagine that he drinks many, many cups of hazlenut flavoured coffee.

Got that picture? That’s me doing the Dope!

Did I forget to mention wearing my cowboy boots and a mariachi hat?
