I use and have heard “glurdj” - (‘jay’ sound). Sounds similar to ‘gurge’ - a whirlpool glur-jy - (adjectival form) ---

Yeah, I’ve always pronounced it to rhyme with _surge_. With a little twist of lemon. You’ll _like_ it. ---
